Garage Cleanout Service — We’ll Handle the Whole Thing
That garage has been driving you crazy long enough. Point at what stays, and we’ll make everything else disappear. Fast, affordable, and zero hassle.
Finally, Park in Your Garage Again
Here’s how it usually goes: you move in and the garage has plenty of room. Then the holiday decorations go in. Then the extra furniture. Then the boxes you swore you’d unpack. Then the broken treadmill, the old paint cans, the kids’ outgrown bikes, and the mystery boxes that haven’t been opened since 2017.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone. Garage cleanouts are one of our most popular services. 99 Junk Removal has been helping homeowners reclaim their garages for over 30 years. We bring the big truck, the crew, and the muscle. You just tell us what goes and what stays. That’s it.
What We Typically Remove From Garages
We’ve seen it all. Here’s what we pull out of garages every week:
- Old furniture — that couch that “temporarily” moved to the garage two years ago
- Broken appliances — extra fridges, freezers, microwaves, old washers
- Exercise equipment — treadmills, weight benches, ellipticals gathering dust
- Boxes and bins — holiday decorations, old records, clothes, random accumulation
- Tools and workbench items — rusted tools, old chemicals (non-hazardous), scrap wood
- Sports and outdoor gear — broken bikes, old skis, camping gear, paddleboards
- Shelving and storage units — metal racks, plastic shelving, wall-mounted organizers
- Tires and auto parts — old tires, car batteries (we recycle these), car seats
- Yard equipment — broken mowers, trimmers, blowers, old hoses
- Construction leftovers — lumber scraps, drywall pieces, old paint (dried only)
The only things we can’t take are hazardous materials — wet paint, chemical solvents, pesticides, and similar items. Everything else is fair game.
How Our Garage Cleanout Works
1. Walk It With Us
Walk us through the garage and tell us what stays and what goes. Takes about 5 minutes. We give you a firm price on the spot.
2. We Load Everything
Our crew moves everything out, loads the truck, and sorts donatable items from trash and recycling. You don’t touch a thing.
3. Clean Garage
We sweep the floor, put back what you’re keeping, and leave you with a garage you can actually use. Maybe even park in.
Most garage cleanouts take under 2 hours. Call (253) 722-4285 today and you could have your garage back by dinner.
Tips for Preparing Your Garage Cleanout
You don’t have to do anything to prepare — that’s literally why you’re hiring us. But if you want the process to go even smoother, here are a few suggestions:
Pull out what you’re keeping. If you know there are items you definitely want to keep, move them to one side or mark them clearly. This speeds up the “what stays, what goes” conversation.
Check for hazardous materials. Look for old paint cans (wet paint), chemical solvents, pesticides, or propane tanks. We can’t take these, but your local transfer station will have a hazardous waste drop-off.
Unlock everything. If your garage has interior doors, side doors, or separate storage areas, make sure we can access everything that needs to go.
Don’t worry about organizing or sorting. That’s our job. We sort donations from recycling from disposal as we load. You don’t need to pre-sort anything.
Garage Cleanout Pricing
We price by truck volume — how much space your stuff takes up. Here’s a rough guide for garage jobs:
| Garage Size | Typical Cost Range |
|---|---|
| Partial cleanout (a few items, some boxes) | $99 – $249 |
| Single-car garage (moderately full) | $249 – $449 |
| Two-car garage (packed) | $449 – $699 |
| Three-car garage or floor-to-ceiling | Call for quote |
These are estimates — your actual price depends on what’s in there. We always quote on-site before starting. No surprises. Visit our pricing page for more details.
Where We Offer Garage Cleanouts
Everywhere we haul junk — which is the entire greater Seattle area and South Puget Sound. Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Kent, Auburn, Renton, Federal Way, Puyallup, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, and dozens of surrounding communities. If you’ve got a garage, we’ll clean it out.
Eco-Friendly Garage Cleanout
Garages are goldmines for donations. That old bike your kids outgrew? Someone else’s kid needs it. The furniture that doesn’t fit your new place? A family just starting out can use it. We sort every load and donate usable items to local charities. Electronics get properly recycled. Metals get scrapped. Only what truly can’t be reused goes to the landfill. Frequently Asked Questions — Garage Cleanout
How long does a garage cleanout take?
Most single-car garages take 45-90 minutes. A packed two-car garage might take 2-3 hours. Three-car garages or severe hoarding situations take longer. We work fast but carefully — we’re not going to damage your garage or the items you’re keeping.
Do I have to be there the whole time?
You should be there at the start to walk us through what stays and what goes. After that, you can go inside, run errands, or grab coffee. We’ll find you when we’re done for a final walk-through.
Will you sweep the garage floor?
Yes. Once everything is out, we sweep the floor and put any “keep” items back in an organized way. You’ll walk into a garage that looks like a garage again.
Can you take old paint cans?
Dried/hardened paint — yes. Wet or liquid paint — no, that’s considered hazardous waste. Your local transfer station has a hazardous waste drop-off for liquid paint, pesticides, and chemicals.
What if I’m not sure what I want to keep?
No problem. We’ll work through it with you. We can pull items out one at a time for you to decide, or we can set “maybe” items aside for you to go through later. No rush.
Do you also clean out basements and attics?
Yes — we do basement cleanouts, attic cleanouts, shed cleanouts, and whole-home cleanouts. Anywhere you’ve got junk, we’ll clear it. The process is the same: you point, we haul.
Can you come on a weekend?
We work 7 days a week. Saturdays are our busiest day for garage cleanouts — most people want their weekend project done on Saturday morning. Book early in the week to get your preferred time slot.
“I’ve been putting off my garage for three years. Called 99 Junk Removal on a Saturday morning and they showed up at noon. Two guys, one big truck, and an hour later I had a garage again. Best money I’ve spent all year.”
